While planning your summertime activities, be sure to add a short drive to the Hermann area for all of the variety it has to offer visitors.
Starting June 9, the Hermann area is excited to launch its first-annual Hermann Farmers’ Market at the Hofgarten. For those guests new to the Hermann area, you can enjoy the Hermann Farmers’ Market at the Hofgarten Event Center, centrally located at First Street and Gutenberg Street, right next to Hermannhof Winery. Area farmers are invited to showcase their fresh summer harvests weekly on Wednesdays from 3 to 6pm and on Saturdays from 8 to 1pm starting in June through the end of the summer. Attendees will delight in the area’s bounty with fresh produce, garden vegetables, spices, organically grown offerings, and homegrown goodness. Foodies will delight in speaking with area growers, while exchanging various cooking methods, recipes, and ways to bring more fresh food into your family’s meals.
Located just 90 minutes from St. Louis, the inviting German town of Hermann is an ideal weekend trip to enjoy delectable dishes and world-class award winning wines. Make it a weekend getaway and stay with us at the Inn at Hermannhof to enjoy luxurious Hermann lodging and what a Missouri Wine country bed and breakfast offers. Hofgarten also features live music every Saturday and BBQ throughout the summer. Come and support small, local farmers at the Hermann Farmers’ Market at the Hofgarten — great for the environment, local commerce, and you!
